When the heart hurts…
Some days, I forget what it is like not to have my heart hurt. Today, I was given a firm reminder of how much the heart can hurt. Okay, it wasn’t just today, but the past week has been a series of painful experiences. Someday, I hope that some of the pain will subside…the loneliness can go too. LOL I know it’ll hurt less tomorrow, or in the near future, but until then, when the heart hurts, it truly hurts.

Well, it has been 12 days since Haunted by Darkness launched. The reviews have been amazing, I’m so grateful for those leaving reviews. Their feedback and input are invaluable. Now, due to that feedback, I am in the process of planning a sequel – Haunted by Lies will be a reality.
Haunted by Darkness Releases This Week
Well, this is it…Haunted by Darkness will officially be out and available this week. I’m anxious and excited. I still believe that this was some of my best writing.
What’s next? Well, I’ve been working on Shifting Fate. I haven’t put together a summary yet, but it is about Sydney Degan, a shapeshifter who is recounting her life. Yes, I know, supernatural stuff doesn’t appeal to everyone, but I’ve won over 2 of my 3 beta readers with it. Hopefully, people will give it a chance.

Quick Update
Yes, I have been gone from the website for a lot longer than I should have been. I promise that it will not happen again. The latest updates quickly are, Haunted by Darkness will be released on February 12, 2016. I am beyond excited and thrilled. I have had feedback from the few that I let read it and they all say it is going to be great. I will post more soon, it is 3 AM and I have to get up in a few hours.

Well, it has been sent to the editor. Now the waiting and fun begin. I am fairly confident that I’ve grown since book one. Time will tell!
Haunted by Darkness – Accepted
Well, I heard back from the publisher today and yes, they are going to publish my new book. That is right, Winter 2016 – Haunted by Darkness will be released. Now to finish the updates and submit the final draft.
Submitted…Now, We Wait!
Well, at 3 AM this morning I emailed Haunted by Darkness to Sapphire to be considered for publishing. Tick tock, tick tock…now, we wait. It turned out really well for a first draft. I will always love To Love Again, but Haunted by Darkness is, well it has more me in it. I’m truly hoping we can get it out before the end of the year. Then I have to start work on the next book. Yay, active mind!
