Weeping Walls – Gerri Hill

If you liked Keepers of the Cave you will love this book. I actually found it to be even better than Keepers of the Cave. I learned in reading this, don’t read spooky books at night, in the dark, when it is windy out. I think the relationship between Ice, Billy, CJ, and Paige is great. The flirting between Paige and CJ in public was hilarious. I hope that there are more books in this series.

Keepers of the Cave – Gerri Hill

This was the first book I have ready by Gerri Hill. I look forward to reading many more. The relationship that was built between Paige and CJ was believable and entertaining. I was drawn in almost immediately.

Deception By Design – Tara Wentz

This was a very good read! I enjoyed the deception and intrigue. The character and their interactions were good, believable. I loved that the author did indeed respect the reader and do the research on the various situation to make it authentic. I am definitely looking forward to reading more by this author.

Writing Update

Well, book two has been decided. Working title is Haunted By Darkness. I am writing it as we speak…well, I will continue after I write this post. I’m about halfway through the initial writing. I’m really excited about this one. As soon as I get a synopsis written I’ll post it.

Update on To Love Again. I am waiting to hear back from the editor on the latest round of edits. As far as I know at this time, we are set for a May 15th launch. If that stay on plan, I think it warrants a night out to see DJ Timmy.

Update

Well, it has been a bit, but I received the edits from the editor. Let’s just say that if you have never received a line edit on your work – DAMN, it is shocking. After the shock wore off I was able to go through and yesterday I sent my edits back to the editor for round 2.

Nothing new in the other writing category. My mind is blank at the moment folks!

I am planning to go to LCLC (Left Coast Lesbian Conference) in Palm Springs in September. I’m really looking forward to meeting all of the fantastic authors that will be there.

Rebound – Lynette Mae

This is a great story about overcoming some of the challenges life sends our way. I enjoyed the characters and their interactions. I would definitely recommend this book.

Fragmented – Eliza Lentzski

Another fantastic book! I was hooked after the first few pages. Eliza Lentzski has a way of weaving a story that can both keep you in suspense as well as wanting to read more, to find out what happens next. The story and characters were relatable, and I am always a sucker for a good story set it in the midwest. I would definitely recommend this book.

Update

Hello All. Sorry, it has been a while since my last update. Life and the holidays got in the way. I received a message from the person who is going to be editing To Love Again, and she said that she should be starting it this week sometime. I’m excited and nervous…I don’t know what to expect. I’ll keep you posted on that. Since the last update:

– I have scrapped Awaiting Peace.

– I have created Deadly Peace. It is Awaiting Peace merged with another story.

– I have started work on Shifting Fate.

I think that is all I have for tonight…

Loved and Lost – Stephanie Kusiak

A fantastic story. It grips you right from the beginning. It makes you wonder, what would you do if you could go back in time? What would you change? Would you change anything? What are the consequences of your changes?
